Admissibility of illegally obtained evidence in the practice of international courts
Currently, actors of legal relations are going through the dimension of integration process. In other words, many issues that are raised and regulated by International private law are connected directly/indirect to International public law. The substantive regulation may have differentiation, but procedural regulation sometimes has common perceptions. This lecture is going to be dedicated to the question of admissibility of illegally obtained evidence in the practice of International judicial institutions both International Court of Justice so as of International Commercial Arbitration Tribunals. This issue is becoming concurrent due to disputes arising at both international public and private law.

Kamila Mateeva is an Associate Professor and the Director of the LL.M. program at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. She has been lecturer at the AUCA since 2005. She has an LL.M. degree from Indiana University of School of Law at Indianapolis, Indiana, USA and Ph.D. degree from Kyrgyz National Academy. She has been a fellow as part of PILI institute fellowship for the Columbia University School of Law (2008). Member of Scientific Advisory Board for the international court of the CIS organization. Member of International Advisory Board for the Human Rights Practice Program, University of Arizona. She has been teaching majority Public International Law, International Trade Law courses. Has number of both international and domestic publications.
